Experiencing an injury to the brain is sadly something which can happen to anyone at any time in their life. Survivors may be left with long term and complex problems which can affect their ability to live their life independently, as they once did. These types of issues can also have a massive effect on their interpersonal relationships, as well as on the personality generally. Those experiencing brain injury, as well as those close to them, can find it very difficult to cope with the uncertainties and challenges survivors face.

Unified Care can offer a home from home where individuals with brain injury are supported to live as independently as possible. Losing a sense of one’s own identity is a traumatic and frightening experience for brain injury sufferers and their loved ones. Our experienced staff are trained to provide motivational support and to encourage our service users to set small goals which can be achieved more realistically and quickly, making their progress more visible.
